Together with the University of Rome "La Sapienza", the Vaccari Institute in undertaking a research on the Evaluation of eye-tracking systems for children and adolescents with cerebral palsy.
In recent years, eye-trackig systems became an important tool to improve the quality of life and enhance the autonomy ofr persons with disabilities needing alternative input devices.
The aim of this work is to analyse the interaction process of children and adolescents with disabilities with the eye-tracking assistive system.

EXPERIMENTAL EXHIBITION FOR DISABLED PEOPLE

Is it possible to interact fully with an artwork, whatever your sensory and physical abilities and whatever the complexity of the work? Multi-sensorial console made by the “Leonarda Vaccari” Institute in Roma – Italy tries to answer this question. The console, specifically designed for a disabled public, is meant to facilitate a complete emotional immersion – visual, tactile and sonorous – in artworks drawn from the National Gallery of Modern Art’s permanent collection.
